I’m leading a team of 5 senior SEOs at Lastminute.com Group, a leading international travel brand in Europe. I am responsible for a wide portfolio of sites in different markets (mainly UK, FR, ES, IT) and have the ownership of the Marketing Roadmap and initiatives.

Main tasks and responsibilities include the following:

 

  • Ownership of the marketing roadmap
  • Prioritize the backlog for marketing tasks and assess feasibility with the dev team
  • Solve complex challenges with SEO in mind (JS rendered sites, migrations of legacy CMS, .htaccess cleaning, page speed improvements,...)
  • Collaboration with product, the developer team and SRE teams as the tech SEO point of contact, in order to make sure tech tasks are clear and delivered as expected
  • Regular discussions and alignment with key stakeholders to make cross-functional projects happen and reach the company’s goals.
  • Constant support and coaching for the SEO team Definition of SEO OKRs and main KPIs, as well as budget forecasts
  • Reporting to the Head of SEO and CMO on SEO KPIs and trends

During my time at Grupo Intercom, I was the SEO Manager of the website Guidaestetica.it, an Italian health and beauty portal specialized in plastic surgery. My goal was to increase organic traffic and leads and ensure the website was optimized for success on search engines.

Some of my main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Ongoing SEO audits, aimed at finding areas of SEO improvement, new opportunities and technical fixes
  • Research and in-depth analysis of the market and competition in order to come up with new strategies aimed at increasing organic traffic and leads
  • Monitoring of site performance to identify potential threats (loss of traffic, ranking drops, etc.)
  • Organize and carry out link building and PR activities
